New Packaging For Tibetan Tea

Tibetan Tea has a new look. For iced tea drinkers looking for a new twist on an old favorite, a new taste sensation is offered in Tibetan Tea. Infused with all natural ingredients, Tibetan Tea is a sparkling black and herbal tea blend enhanced with ginseng, guarana, ginger and sweetened with a touch of honey. It offers the soothing qualities traditionally associated with tea, but provides a “kick” in the way of a light, mild effervescence.

“Tibetan Tea was formulated for consumers with a discerning palette who wanted a refreshing tea with superior, natural ingredients. In an arena where many beverages look and taste the same, this sparkling recipe sets Tibetan Tea apart from all others,” says Stan Zee, founder of Tibetan Tea. “Our product contains no preservatives or artificial flavors or colors. Additionally, Tibetan Tea is pasteurized in the can to ensure the highest quality tea beverage.”

At the 2005 World Tea Expo Tibetan Tea won second place for the Best RTD Sweetened category.

DaVinci: Off With His Head!

DaVinci Gourmet’s new label design and logo are the culmination of a year-long design and market research process. Kevin Kreutner, director of marketing explains, “Our objective was to bring the image forward while also having clearer communications.” He adds that one of the largest challenges had to do with the famous head on the brand’s current label, “It was hard to let him go. It was clear from that research it was time to lay him to rest.” The new labels will begin to reach retailers in the first quarter of 2006.

As part of a new, ongoing sponsorship program, DaVinci Gourmet dedicated one of the label’s side panels to raising awareness for Coffee Kids. This sponsorship launched with DaVinci Gourmet contributing $175,000 to Coffee Kids. DaVinci Gourmet will also be providing retailers with tools to help promote Coffee Kids and its mission with consumers. Founded in 1988, by coffee roaster Bill Fishbein, Coffee Kids is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in coffee growing communities around the world. It has helped thousands of children, women and men in coffee-producing regions around the world to improve the quality of their lives and build more sustainable communities.
