China Mist Acquires LEAVES
China Mist Tea Company has acquired LEAVES Pure Teas, company officials announced.

LEAVES, based in San Francisco, sells estate and garden teas, as well as herbal blends. Most of their teas are produced without the use of flavoring additives, which has brought them a following in Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as the United States and is served in hundereds of cafés around the world.

China Mist distributes its products internationally to more than 20,000 hotels, restaurants and other foodservice outlets.

“The exciting merger...will allow LEAVES to immediately expand into new technology packaging, as well as increase its already-large private label enterprise and offer a significantly extended line of iced teas and iced tea products,” said Richard Guzauskas, LEAVES founder.
