OneCafé — Innovative Single-Cup Coffee

After several years of research and development, One Café has created a new way to brew and serve coffee – instantly and in the cup. The company supplies the first disposable single-cup coffee brewing bag. The filter bag is made of a patented fabric that allows the coffee to fully mix with hot water, which makes the flavors come alive in a way that surpasses traditional brewing methods, according to the company.

The company conducted laboratory tests made by the Ideon Agro Food Institute, which showed that our brewing solution is as good as the well-known cafetiere (french press). The cup also features an appealing and exciting design that is actually part of the brewing solution. It easily fits on the rim of the cup, and when you are done, you just pull the string to haul in the bag. Then you can turn it up side down without any dripping or stains. The whole package is recyclable, of course. OneCafé can be filled with any kind of coffee as long as it is prepared in the right way. The unique brewing method will bring out the best in every brand. However, in the process of developing OneCafé, they also developed their own special brand of coffee.

Yerba Mate-Spiked Beverages Power Mate Revolution

Guayakí, a provider of organic, fairly-traded, rainforest-grown yerba mate in North America with products sold at thousands of natural foods stores, cafes and supermarkets recently introduced a new traditional-style Unsweetened Mate. This new low-calorie beverage highlights the robust flavor of brewed rainforest yerba mate in a premium 16-ounce bottle. Guayaki’s organic rainforest yerba mate is combined with premium organic teas, herbs, and spices to create six delicious blends: Mate Chocolatte; Chai Spice Mate; Red Tea with Mate; Orange Blossom Mate; Greener Green Tea; and Magical Mint Mate.  Guayaki’s organic Unsweetened Mate is styled in the South American tradition known as terere – a technique of preparing yerba mate cold, as opposed to the more typical hot tea version that is the most popular drink in Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and much of Brazil.  In South America, a hollowed gourd and bombilla (metal filtered straw), loose yerba mate tea and a thermos of water are cultural standard equipment for people to lug around everywhere they go. It may be a custom there, but people on this continent prefer convenient grab-and-go bottled drinks - and Guayaki is the first to offer an authentic unsweetened yerba mate drink in a bottle.
