It’s spring again for T&CTJ!

Spring has many meanings, one, associated with the season, signifies rebirth, that which is new. And while it may be nearing the end of September, with so much “newness” for Tea & Coffee Trade Journal, it feels like spring again! In fact, following our May acquisition by Bell Publishing, it’s almost as though we’re an entirely new magazine.

We debuted our completely revamped website in July. The new T&CTJ site features daily news stories, white papers, the digital edition, calendar, archives and so much more. Make sure you are subscribing to the magazine in order to take full advantage of everything the website has to offer, including access to archived stories and the digital editions of the monthly print issues.

In August we unveiled our redesigned print edition, which has been well received so thank you to all who have emailed compliments and congratulations. The magazine is constantly evolving so there will be more changes and additions to come!

Last week we announced the dates and location for the 2017 Tea & Coffee World Cup—26-28 September in Singapore. The show is being updated and refreshed and will offer several new components including the addition of cocoa (see the story running on this website). The popular roasting workshop, which combines a theoretical roasting class–in a classroom format–with a practical roasting segment, where participants roast coffee using an actual roasting machine, returns to the 2017 show. New educational sessions and exhibitors will be continually added so stay tuned.

This week we are launching our e-newsletter. The newsletter will highlight stories from the monthly issue, news stories and provide Tea & Coffee World Cup updates. And don’t forget to follow us on Twitter at: @TCTradeJournal!

Part of our magazine redesign includes a new motto, “The International & Trusted Resource for the Tea & Coffee Industries Since 1901.” With our new website and newsletter, redesigned magazine, revamped show, and more “new items” to come, we truly aim to be the coffee and tea industries’ go-to resource.

We welcome feedback, so please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or comments at [email protected].

Warm regards,

Vanessa
